NEW for 2006 - a 26 mm magnetic oil drain plug.

For certain water-cooled Audi® and a few VW®s that use the 26 mm drain plug (Audi® V6 and 1.8T and some '98 & '99 Passats®;with 1.8T) How can I tell the size? If the threads of your oil drain plug are about the diameter of a quarter dollar, you have this 26 mm type. Quality Metalnerd®-brand drain plug, Precision machined from solid steel, zinc plated to resist rust, and our high-strength ALNICO magnet, made in USA. Includes 1 aluminum or copper seal washer.

These solid copper washers are made for the 14 mm oil drain plugs used on most water-cooled VW® engines.

Part MNLKIT - M14 Magnetic Drain Plug Kit

For all water-cooled VWs that use the 14 mm drain plug (all models except some Audi and '98 & '99 Passats;with 1.8T that came with a 26 mm plug) Quality Metalnerd-brand drain plug, High-strength USA-made ALNICO magnet, assembled in USA. This longer style was developed for the aluminum oil pans but are great for steel pans too. Kit includes 10 copper seal washers.
